SOUTH ASHFORD
TOURNAMENT
Sat 19th May 2012,
An excellent tournament, very well run and the boys played their socks off to get to the final where they were narrowly beaten 1-0.

ANNUAL PRESENTATION
The Club held its annual presentation on Sunday 13th May. The afternoon outdoor activities were organised by Generation Sports who did an excellent job with a 3-a-side competion inside their blow-up football arena and various other football related sideshows.
Luke and Nicky ran the B-B-Q and kept everyone fed with burgers and hot-dogs. Lisa ran the raffle stall and Jane and others organised the seating and tables.
The awards for the players were presented at the end of the afternoon with each player getting a squad plaque and special awards given as shown below. The 'Chairmans Cup' was awarded to the player who was considered to have demonstrated the key attributes of 'committment', 'determination' and 'endeavour'.
The event was well supported, the weather was great for a change and everyone seemed to have a good time. The special awards were given as follows:
Most Improved Player: Jack Shale
Supporters Player of the Year: Jaeger Horne
Managers Player of the Year: Ryan Adams
Players Player of the Year: Kieran Palmer
Chairmans Cup: Jack Balcombe
I would like to thank everyone who contibuted to the organising effort and all those who attended for their enthusiastic support. I would also like to thank all the parents for their wonderful support for the team during the season and I'm sure we are all looking forward to more of the same next season, albeit with many new faces.
