This weeks player in focus is Jacob Mensah
Jacob joined us this year having not played a great deal before this season. He is a tall lad and has all the makings of a fine player
when he gets the experience to go with his natural attributes. He has played up front and in defence, which may be his best position.
If he learns to use his height and strength in the tackle and heading combined with his great ability to keep calm and pass the ball out of defence, he could
be Hurricanes answer to Rio Ferdinand. Jacob has a very strong kick and is not easily knocked off the ball; we have high hopes of him developing into a very good player for Hurricanes.
He clearly loves playing football and mixing with the other boys, and always shows great enthusiasm at training and in matches. As with all the boys in the team he is a
pleasure to have around and never gives the manager any problems.
